Flipster Database Trial

The Rohrbach Library has just added a new database trial for patrons to use. Flipster, produced by EBSCO, offer s a digital magazineflipster subscription that patrons can access on a computer or mobile device on and off campus. The database includes the most recent issue and several past issues of each magazine. Popular magazine titles include Time, People, Food Network, Entrepreneur, and Esquire. Patrons can browse through the seventeen categories on the database home page or search by a title or subject in the search box. The categories include:

  • Automotive
  • Business
  • Consumer Reports
  • Entertainment
  • Family and Kids
  • Fitness and Health
  • Food and Cooking
  • Hobbies, Interests, and DIY
  • Home and Garden
  • Lifestyle
  • Men’s Interests
  • News and Politics
  • Science and Technology
  • Sports
  • Teens
  • Travel
  • Women’s Interests

Students and faculty can access Flipster through the library’s website by clicking on the “Find Information” tab and going to the “Articles and Databases” link. Once there, look for the link titled “Database Trials” underneath the heading “Other Tools.” The trial ends on November 21, 2014.
