The Rohrbach Library offers music majors and minors four databases. Students can access them by going to the library’s website and clicking on “Articles and Databases” under the Research Tools tab. Students can then search databases by subject, journal, or name. If accessing a database while off campus, students will be prompted to sign in with their KU login information.
This database offers full texts of music dictionaries and includes biographies contributed by scholars from around the world.
The index provides music periodicals about musicians and the music industry from over 800 publications dating from 1975 to the present.
This music library has the world’s largest online classical music collection with 24,450 CDs and an average of 500 new CDs every month. The catalogue includes mostly classical and jazz music.
The database includes biographical information on musicians from all time periods in scholarly and popular press articles.
The Rohrbach Library also provides LibGuides as another resource. LibGuides offer research materials such as books, databases, and websites. Students can find the music LibGuide page at libguides.kutztown.edu/music or by clicking on the LibGuide tab on the library’s homepage. For more information on music LibGuides, contact Krista Prock at email@example.com.
Research librarians are available to help students find information. Visit Rohrbach Library or call the Research Help Line at 610-683-4165 to talk to a librarian.
