Mr. Fish on how to win contempt and influence people

ImageFor decades, the Sigma Delta Chi award of the National Society of Professional Journalists has honored the work of some of our most distinguished political cartoonists— Bill Mauldin, Tony Auth, Paul Conrad, Herb Block, and Garry Trudeau among them.

Today in the library we host two-time ΣΔΧ award winner Dwayne Booth—known worldwide as Mr. Fish

His National Library Week talk, sponsored by our friends in Communication Design, is in 100B at 11am. The KU Bookstore will be on hand selling copies of his debut collection Go Fish: How to Win Contempt and Influence People from Akashic Books.

He’ll do an encore at 12:30pm in Sharadin 209 for Kevin McCloskey’s Design class. Both talks are free and open to the public.
