Rohrbach Library and its Voices & Choices Center are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in a big way this year with a wild Latin dance event
featuring the Barrio Alegría dancers—choreographed by the multitalented Daniel Egusquiza whose paintings are on display in our Second Floor Gallery through the end of October.Daniel’s paintings inspired by travels throughout his native Peru are sensitive watercolors by a Reading PA community activist with a degree in Fine Art from Northern Illinois University.
Come to meet Daniel and his friends, and to hear him talk about his art. You’ll be glad you did.
There’s a lot happening on campus that evening! You’ll want to stop by Sharadin for a reception with Oaxacan Artist-in-Residence César Chávez (3:30pm-6:00) and the Multicultural Center, throwing down its exciting Sabor Latino event which runs till 7:00pm.
