Make Your Own READ poster

In honor of National Library Week, the Rohrbach Library invites you to come have your picture taken with your all-time favorite book in RL 24 from April 1 – 15.

Your picture will be blown up to poster-size and put on display during the month of April. Afterward, if you like, you may pick up your poster free of charge.

Go to the American Library Association Web site to see celebrity READ posters. If you are the first participant to correctly identify the silhouette used in the poster above, you will win a nifty coffee mug among other assorted prizes.

For more information on National Library Week, head on over to the ALA Web site or refer to the blog post below.

I am not sure if I am the first one to identify the celebrity because someone already did. The woman in silhoutte is Ms. Eva Mendes. However, I do not know why she is a celebrity. I have never heard of her before.

Unfortunately, Adam Tal was the first participant to correctly identify the silhouette, but you are still more than welcome to swing by RL 24 to get your picture taken for your own READ poster.

Please come get your picture taken. I promise not to quiz you on the celebrity posters! 🙂 I don’t know who many of them are either. I end up looking them up to see what they have done to make them a celebrity.
