Painter, hypnotherapist, and author Kanta Bosniak will speak on the use of icons as motivational models. Bosniak, whose work is featured in the Library’s “Icons” exhibit, explores topics of interest to students of psychology, counseling, and art. This event is free and open to the public.
Bosniak earned a Holistic Doctorate in Divinity and Hypnosis with a Transpersonal, or spiritually-based approach. Her work has been featured in shows in PBS and NPR radio galleries, at UNCW, Omega Institute and Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment. Other venues have included the Perspectives and Armory Galleries at Virginia Tech, liturgical art shows, churches, and galleries along the East Coast.
