This week, the “Reference tip” board will feature two reference texts focusing on science: Anne Becher and Joseph Richey’s, American Environmental Leaders: From Colonial Times to the Present (Vol. 2) and David Hosansky’s, The Environment A to Z.
American Environmental Leaders (Vol. 2) is a compilation of biographies of 400 of the most influential environmental leaders of the United States. This encyclopedia has an A-Z format, photographs, a primary documents section, annotated bibliography, and general index.
The Environment A to Z is a reference volume of the issues, laws, organizations, terms, and personalities that form environmental policy. The text includes definitions, descriptions, facts, and biographies.
