Featured Databases for Visual Arts and Electronic Media Majors

This week’s featured databases are for visual arts and electronic media majors. The databases are ARTstor and NYPL Digital Gallery.

ARTstor contains almost one million digital images. These images include works of art and other cultural materials, tools to work with these images, and documentation tools. For more information about ARTstor, click here.

NYPL Digital Gallery allows you to access more than 275,000 of the New York Public Library’s digitized images. These images include illuminated manuscripts, vintage posters, rare photographs, illustrated books and more. Click here to learn more about NYPL Digital Gallery.
