Human Rights Day Panel Discussion

Thursday, December 10, is Human Rights Day. To celebrate this, the GLBTQ Resource Center is hosting a “Looking Back, Looking Forward” Human Rights Day in Pennsylvania panel discussion at 11:00 a.m. in the Student Union Building, room 218. This event is free and open to the entire university community. Panelists include Jacqueline Conforti Barnett, special assistant to the PASSHE Chancellor, Stephen A. Glassman, chairperson of the PA Human Rights Commission, and Barbara M. Taliaferro, KU associate VP for Diversity and Inclusion. Come out and listen to the equality progress that has been made in Pennsylvania and what has yet to be done, and the panelists’ perspectives about human rights. This is sure to be an educational, eye-opening experience.
