Ireland and the Irish in America: A Living Musical Tradition

Cherish the Ladies In conjunction with the appearance of the Irish-American traditional music ensemble, Cherish the Ladies, in Schaeffer Auditorium, December 2, 2009, the Rohrbach Library Voices and Choices Center has mounted a display entitled Ireland and the Irish in America: A Living Musical Tradition.

The display features print resources in the library collection as well as photographs and artifacts. Ireland and the Irish in America: A Living Musical TraditionThe library welcomes you to view the exhibit on the 2nd floor of the library. A companion Website is also available. It includes a photo gallery of the display, additional information related to the display, a selected bibliography of print and online resources available through the library, and links to the music of more than two dozen Irish and Irish-American traditional music groups and artists.
