Curriculum Materials Center Increases Textbook Holdings

The Curriculum Materials Center has received (via donations or orders) many new textbooks over the past few months. Reps from various publishers (Harcourt, Scott Foresman, McGraw Hill, Holt, and Prentice Hall) have found it profitable to donate new editions of some or all of their textbook series for our College of Education majors to use and review. This gives their future clientel a chance to get to know their products, and it gives our budget a HUGE relief. To buy the materials that we received via donations, we would have had to spend well over $40,000! We also have purchased a variety of textbooks for the collection to support various education courses.

We hope to have all of these new materials processed and on the shelves by the Fall 2006 semester, so make sure you stop by in the fall to see them!

If you have any questions, please contact Karen Wanamaker at or 610-683-4709.
