CMC New Items Lists

The Curriculum Materials Center’s new items lists are now available online. The lists can be found at: http://www.kutztown.edu/library/materials/cmcnewsletter.html

Included in the list are donated textbooks from Houghton Mifflin totaling over $20,000!

Building an Inclusive Community: What does it take?

Tuesday, June 26, 2007, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., is the third opportunity during this summer’s Frederick Douglass Institute Scholar-in-Residence discussion series to dialogue with Dr. Nat Williams. He leads his campus-wide closing session in Rohrbach Library’s Voices & Choices Center gallery focusing on the modified topic, “Building an Inclusive Community: What does it take?” Bring your lunch and your thoughts to what promises to be another energy-renewing lunch break with Williams and some of your colleagues.

Frederick Douglass Scholar-in-Residence lecture and discussion: Thursday, June 14th

The Rohrbach Library’s Voices & Choices Center is proud to host the Frederick Douglass Institute Scholar, Nathaniel J. Williams, on Thursday, June 14th, 12:00 noon in the VCC Gallery on the 2nd floor. This open lecture and discussion is titled, “The Fight for Civil Rights/Racial Justice.” Williams will also present “Underground Railroad” on Monday June 18th and “Publishing and Public Speaking” on Tuesday June 26th —at noon in the VCC gallery.
